Black Water Cable Valve keeps leaking (it's new)

Hi I just replaced my black water drain valve (cable type)I have slid the valve into the gap between the black pvc pipe at least ten times and tighten it. I still see water dripping from the fitting. Is there a trick to tightening these valves I've checked the gaskets they are brand new but it just seems to continue to leak when I pull the drain handle.

Best guess a seal is not in properly and is now damaged!

I KNOW you think you have installed the valve correctly. BUT, odds are when you slide the valve in place, one of the 2 seals is NOT seated correctly in the flanges. THAT causes the leak. Cable valves can be a real pain to install correctly. Doug
