Carefree Awning Current Adjustment

The awning controller has an adjustment labelled "Current Adjust". Is there a published procedure to adjust the awning controller current? This is a One Touch awning but they are probably all the same.

The awning is sluggish & moves very slowly. If there's a 15 knot breeze it needs help, someone pushing on the arms. I wash the straps and am liberal with silicone on the straps which helps quite a bit but doesn't cure it. It is a 13 year old One Touch patio awning.

The current adjustment is for the In and OUT stops. From your complaint, your motor is bad. The current adjustment does not fix this type problem. Doug

If this isn't sufficiently covered in your Carefree owner's manual I'd call the company and ask them.
