New to rv'g. Looking for suggestions re: Insurance. Currently insured thru my car insurance, but rate is Hugh. I recently got a quote thru the Progressive site which was substantially lower. Any feedback on Progressive? Also, would it be beneficial to go thru Good Sam where I am a member and have Roadside Assistance?

I went with Progressive, I checked 5 or 6 companies, Progressive also has zero deductible for Windshield coverage. I tried to insure everything together but it didn't work out, Cars with Geico, and MH with Progressive.

We use Geico as their rate was slightly less than progressive. Have had both over the years and been OK with them.

We have Progressive and are full-timers in a motorhome. So far no complaints, but we haven't had to file any claims. Rate was the lowest of the 5 companies I got quotes from. Just make sure your various quotes are for exactly the same coverages, deductibles and optional coverages.

My own experience is that National General via Good Sam costs less than Progressive for the RV. Opposite is true for the cars. This can change every year. You just have to get quotes and stay on top of it for the lowest price.
