I have a predator 2000 watt gen/ inverter I’m going to try and run my 13500 btu rv a/c with a easy start. Think it will work? My a/c also has hard start capacitor. I don’t want to use the parallel kit every time I need a/c. Thanks for any advice.

The hard start will have to come out for the easy start.

My 2500 doesn't even blink at my 15k A/C with an easy start.

likely will start it. honda 2000 will do it just fine even in eco mode . the bigger question is what altitude are you expecting to run it at? Honda 2000 will overload at about 4000ft at higher temps and cut out after 5-15 minutes. Honda 2200 will start and run my coleman mach 3 all day at 7500ft.
At 4000ft the honda 2200 runs at about 3/4 throttle and has about 300W of reserve.

I have a 2000 Wen and a 13,500, with hard start cap. It starts it fine, the first time. When it tries to cycle it overloads and goes into limp mode.I was looking at $3xx for an easy start and about $450 for another gen, I'll go with the second generator and parralel kit. I don't see it as smart to push a genny that hard and kill it early. You are planning on running it at max capacity non stop for how long ? Might want to re think how much hassle it is to parralel 2 2000's

I don't have a clue if it will work, but ISTR on here reading that even if it does work the first time or two, the a/c sort of builds up resistance to restarting when cycling on and off. If that is true ???? you could be fooled if it runs ok the first time.
