Fan Condenser Blade Replacement

I have a 1989 Fleetwood Terry Taurus. The AC is Emerson Quite Cool. I have no documentation on the AC. I see nothing on the ac itself as far as part no. The fan blade for the condenser needs replacing. I am pretty sure this part in now extinct. Can't seem to find online. Anything that's on there would say its not available. I would be fine with replacing with equivalent. Shaft measures 1/2" diameter. The fan diameter is 11-1/4". 6 blades. 2" Tall. Not sure if I can get away with getting just bladed and not the circular rig that goes around it? Is there a name for this type? Anyway - anyone know where I can get a replacement or equivalent?

That looks a lot like one that is about to become SURPLUS on my RV (Carrier Air V).

What I did when the fan on my Advent Air went BOOM (I'm serious about that, sounded like and explosion when it went)

I took it to a SMALL Rv place.. NOT camping world or "Super Big RV Store" (Fictional name) but a little guy.. The kind of guy who keeps salvage parts.. A Coleman fan replaced my Advent air fan. PERFECTLY.

But that would be my suggestion, Find a SMALL Rv place.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

This is response back:

Ok you have GQ1042-6 Plastic slinger we have GQ 1031-6 difference is your pitch on fan is 42 deg. Higher blades while our is 31degree pitch little lower blades if this works cost is 48.50 plus shipping.

Yeah - I am a bit concerned about off centering it. Maybe run the sleeve the entire length? Well, I figured I'd even see if I can get a fan first. Next option would be to replace the motor. Then I will run into issues finding those parts I am sure. the opposite end is for fan only and it works great. I figured I'd run this to the ground till I just replace the whole unit.

It's normally centered in the hole, but right inside should work fine. I am a bit concerned that you can successfully sleeve the shaft without vibration.

hey Chris...I emailed http://partshvac.com/hvac/slin106801.html

they asked me for more info. Just sent to them.

I have a question for you.

I have a 11.25" diameter. As I have said I ended up cutting off the shaft because it was badly rotted. But from what I can tell.....looks like the fan passes thru a big hole where the coils are and spins ahead of the hole. So I may be able to use an 11.50 diameter? See my crude pic. Is it generally offset as shown? Of course i would have to remove opening housing to get fan in there.

I saw those. That would be perfect - and way sturdier. But they start at 11.5 diameter. Mine is 11.25. Let me go check numbers again.

You might look at http://partshvac.com/hvac/slin106801.html to see if one matches. FWIW, you will need 1750 RPM speed.

I just called RV Dealership per the url you gave me Chris. Guy says they used to have it and now they are discontinued and they have no idea wher to get them. I did see some on ebay. The prices were higher....some way higher. I'll check into it. But at least I have a part number I did not have this am. So - yes - thanks.

I emailed the website.

you are correct...part of the shaft is still on fan. The shaft was badly pitted. Looks like an ancient artifact. I ended up sawing the bad portion of the shaft away. I want to see if i can get the fan. If so - I was going to re-add the portion of the shaft and use a sleeve to joint the 2.

That's interesting info on the type of fan.
