Front a/c and heat not working

I picked up a brand new jayco alante 31v from Albany rv we had a BS walk through and left. I just went to check the A/c and the front unit and heat and sure enough they dont work. Seems like there's no power to the thermostat. I reset the the furnace switch and still nothing. Fuse is good so I'm stumped. No plans to bring back to that dealership so I'm hoping someone can help. Rear A/c works fine.

Ok so as in life its always the simplest fix. Small 2 amp glass fuse in thermostat was missing. Fixed.

My last two MHs have been on the Ford F-53 V10 chassis and they drive just fine and have not given me any trouble. I do recommend the CHF (cheap handling fix) where the links for sway bars are moved to the holds closer to the axles. YouTube Search for the Cheap Handling Fix on the F53 chassis. Many to choose from but all accomplis...

There's no sense in having an attitude and ranting here if you want help. It might make you feel better but it really doesn't accomplish much else.

Its not a digital thermostat. I did check all breakers. All good. It seems to be a 12v problem. Tomorrow I will run a 12v leed to the thermostat and see if it kicks it on. I believe the 12v line for the thermostat runs from the front a/c back to the thermostat. I will start testing to see where the power stops. As for the BS demo. The kid new less then I did and the and the camper was cold so no idea if it was running. I didn't fire the heat. My mistake but I was so mad I was wasting my time that I didn't do my duty and go through it.

NOT a Digital tstat? ALL the Jayco Motorhomes and upper line Jayco Trailers we sell have the RVP digital Tstats. Maybe digital is the wrong word? LCD screen is what they have. The Power for the Jayco system comes from the 12 volt feed to the LP furnace. There are 4 wires to the furnace. The RED wire should have 12 volt positive. The Furnace reset is AFTER this Red wire power. Doug

Bottom line the thing is a POS. I new it but the wife wanted it so here we are. Also the thing drives so bad its dangerous. Now I have to spend thousands of dollars in suspension upgrades so we dont crash it. If anyone is considering a jayco or any class a with and f53 chassis bdont do it. Its and expensive lesson.

Was the front air conditioner running when you the "BS" walk through?

Not to undermine your intelligence or anything, but did you flip the breaker switch at the power panel for the air conditioner? I have found on my 5er, there is one breaker that sometimes, somehow, flipps to off when traveling. All I have to do is flip it off and back on again. This happened twice over the last year, same breaker.

I'm assuming your front air conditioner is an air conditioner and heat-pump combined. If yours is a digital thermostat where you push buttons, it's possible you may be in "auto" mode and it's neither hot or cold enough to activate. Also, there is a delay with hose electronic thermostats. Sometimes, it takes 30 - 45 seconds when flipping on the air or the heat pump before it starts running. Just saying, have you been patient enough and waited after flipping it on?

Let us know what happens.
