Gear Power slide motor source

My slide motor needs replacing but Gear Power does not sell to the public. I have 2 quotes and am waiting on a third, all from RV dealers. One at $900, and one at $525. For the same part number BTW. Any brand alternatives I've missed, or a discount vendor? I don't mind spending money, but that is a huge swing. (Also 1 on EBAY at $700+). Any direction you can point me in would be appreciated.

Nothing like egg on my face, you are right. It is Power Gear. I don't know where I got it backwards, but thanks. PPL was the $525 quote if anybody else is shopping.

Sorry, it IS Powergear and the NUMBER you posted is a POWERGEAR number. Look at this link. Doug

522788 Thanks

I had a local motor shop look at it about a year ago to the tune of $120 when it was still barely working properly.Took it back last week when it was about dead, they said it was still fine. I think I need to find a new motor shop but in the meantime I need to get this fixed. Thanks

POWERGEAR. When there is a big swing on part prices, especially on Powergear motors, that usually means that the part is NOT the correct part for your system. $700 to $900 is the usual price range for your Model number motor. Doug

If just the motor is bad, you can get it rewound and save a ton of money.
