How to connect new tail light?

New tail light has no connections for wires. Old one had wire connected to metal bulb sockets but new one has bulbs held in place by a plastic bracket and no place for wires to connect. I know I'm over looking something - it shouldn't be this confusing.
Old one: Bargman SAB-AILAST-94 DOT 30-92-XXX New one is similar, except squared corners and only 1 ground wire for both bulbs and no wire connection points. (Can't figure out how to upload photos without URL.)

Thanks Chris. I noticed the holes in the back of the plate but didn't realize what they were for.

There is most likely a peice of meatl tying the two sockets together.

There should be holes in the backing- you strip the wires and stick them in to the holes- they will come out and be trapped by little fingers.
