I know some of the old timers here have used this unit. Well i took mine apart tonight (had to break the "warranty void if seal broken" but given camco's sorry excuse for support on these units, oh well...
Anyways, the brake pedal actuating wire has frayed and broken from inside the actuator assembly. I took that apart and unfortunately the pressure of the springs blew it apart before i could get a pic for reassembly. One spring is slightly longer and lighter than the other.
Can anyone tell me which spring goes to the button&slider and which goes to the pedal&wire?
As for my overall issue, not only did the wire fray and separate but the little plastic slider to which it attaches has cracked right around where the set key goes. I may try to get a local metal show to fab me one out of aluminum or steel. Love this thing and hate to replace it.
