Mounting TV on side of RV

I purchased the mount linked below:

Basically, one piece mount on the back of the TV and the other parts mounts to flat surface. The one piece just slides in the other and the TV is on the wall.

I have had this mounted in RV bedroom for a couple of years with no issues. I now was able to get a second piece that mounts to a wall. I would like to somehow mount this to the side of the RV next to the exterior coax outlet and plug.

When I am in a situation where I want TV outside I would just slide the TV out of the mount in the bedroom and slide it into the one outside. Outlet and plug there already 🙂

Now for the scary part. How do I successfully mount this to the side of the RV. It is a travel trailer that is fibre glass so no wood studs.

Any ideas? If this is to risky I won't do it but curious is anyone has any ideas. I believe that I have seen some with a mount similar to this from the factory. Would strong two sides mounting tape potentially work for this?

Seems like a good idea. In our Outback 300rb there is a place in the bedroom for a TV against the outside wall. With a stud finder there is a space of about 8 inches long where the finder goes off. I assume this is part of the structural design. Is it safe to screw a mounting bracket in that area? Are wood 3X3 structures still used? I tried to google it but did not find anything. If not perhaps I could glue a piece of plywood against the outside wall with PL and screw the mounting bracket to the plywood? I want to install it and leave it in place while we travel. Thinking I can even stuff some pillows underneath it in the cabinet to keep it steady.

Mounting a TV outside will be cool but I prefer just placing one on a table.

Assuming you're going to stay within the 40 lb. rating for this mount, I'd go with with this.

You could stick the mount on using Shoe Goo to back up the Four mounting screws (Use Toggle Bolts or Expansion fasteners such as Well Nuts!)

I wouldn't trust a Television with a suction cup.

We have the POPUP so what we do is bring along some additional RG cable and one of those TV splitters. Most everything is done with the POPUP trailer is to keep it simple...

When we are at a campground with cable TV just hookup the splitter at the pedestal and run one RG cable to the trailer TV input and the other RG cable under the trailer on the ground.

Then we can setup the TV outside under the awning and watch it sitting on a table or something.
