Need help choosing generator(s)

Jayco 32BHDS Jay Flight with 15k AC / 2nd AC with 50A service

can you please tell me what I need to be fully self sufficient?

Considering (2) Honda/B&S 3000 units or Q6500/EU7000iS

What are my best options? pros? cons?

Where are you going to keep the genset? Do you need to transport it?
Will you have to lift it or can it remain stationary.
Physical size and weight of the genset is a big factor.

Looking at getting 2 WEN 56310i with the parallel kit. Any thoughts?

What's your budget? To get your full 50 amps, you would either need to pair a couple of 3000+ generators, or go with something like the Honda EU7000is. It goes for about $3000. Two Champion 3400's will run you about $2000. Twin Honda EU3000is's will run you about $4000. Any of these are heavy enough to really be a pain to load and unload. If it were me, I'd probably go with the EU7000is. This is what it is made for. Quiet and powerful, but pretty darn heavy.

I would consider propane.

But if I wanted to go gas only you would think the Yamaha 4500 would run it all?

No, I would use a dc to dc converter for 24 to 12 volts. If there is room I'd go to 48 volts.

Champion will be 1/2 what you pay for Honda's. I have a Champion 3100I for several years, puts out 30amps, runs good, quite and will run a single 15000 A/C. They now make a 3400 dual fuel & a parallel kit to hook to Champions together to get a full 50amps.

Using propane you will have a power loss over gas.

Just out of curiosity when you do that I assume you tap off 1 battery for the 12 volt stuff in the camper?

I assume the inverter would be with a transfer switch and power a/c stuff only?

Are you wanting to run everything on 120 volts, or are you willing to use propane?

If willing to use propane, then I'd get the Champion 3400 watt inverter generator with remote electric start. I'd add a 3000 watt hybrid inverter/charger.

I'd add easy start kits to each air conditioner. (Microair easy start).

If not willing to use propane, a 4500 watt inverter generator should run everything. Both Honda and Yamaha make that size.

I'd add a hybrid inverter charger such as the Victron, Magnum, or Master. I'd change to a 24 volt battery bank.
