I have a 2007 JAYCO Designer fifth wheel. If I can post a pic of the manifold in the basement I need to understand how it works. My pump is having shut-off issues. Using it right along for seven months. Now it won’t always shut off by itself. Will run all night. But if you drop pressure even more by running some water (it runs very slowly) then the pump will get to pressure n shut off.
I can’t get pic posted... sorry

I recently had a similar problem whereby the toilet pedal got slightly hung up in the midway position which meant that both the water inlet valve and toilet dump valves (both mechanically connected) were simultaneously ‘slightly open’ at the same time, causing the pump to cycle off and on but with NO appreciable change in the residual water level in the toilet bowl - this because of a near state of water in and out equilibrium...Once I tapped the foot pedal, the pump quit cycling... This was a weird anomaly, but something to keep in mind...

Oh, Lordy. I feel like a fool! The whole issue is about I just ran low in the fresh water tank. We are parked at home!(another long story) and it's amazing how fast you run through 65 gallons of water till the tank needs filling again. We are going to install a second outdoor spigot in the house for soft water. That way we can have soft water hook up to house, electric to the tool shed and waste tanks have to be dumped off-site regularly. Not doing badly with the quarantine. Just learning t Io cope like everyone else.

Don't want to hi-jack the thread, but is it just me or are there fewer valves in a nuclear power plant? :h

Unfortunately the diagram and the manual don't provide any insight into how the manifold or valves are actually plumbed. A couple of things to check. The manual mentions a water heater bypass valve like it is not in the utility bay, probably behind the water heater. Another culprit that congressionally causes issues is the outside shower, or the inside shower for that matter (although I assume the inside shower gets enough use that it would have been discovered). The showers can be shut off at the spray handle but the hot and cold valves be open allowing water to circulate through the fixture.

Sounds like the pump pressure switch is bad or partially cloged.
