The OP's generator is a inverter, the 3800 is not. Either way I hate gas cans and would switch if I did more than exercise ours occasionally.

The Costco unit is an Inverter/Generator. The camping world unit is a generator.

Two different beasts.

Bought my 3800 watt Champion dual fuel at CW for $599. The 7300 watt was $899 and has 50 amp rv plug.
