Finally took the Enterprise for a road trip. It's been connected to my house for the last month as I've been working on it to prep for a long trip. This weekend was a trial run and I noticed I don't have any 110 while driving down the road...I have a Xantrex Pro 1000 inverter. Thus rig is new to me, so I don't know if this was working before...what's my first few troubleshooting steps? I'm not sure which fuses to check or if there is a switch somewhere I should be turning on...any help would be greatly appreciated.

What about when stopped? Many OEM inverters have an ignition lockout so that you will watch the road and not the tv.

Never heard of this before

This is common when there is a television set where the driver could possibly see it. That outlet is disabled when the MH engine is running. If it is a towable RV, this does not apply.

This is not a function of shutting the inverter off, the inverter will remain on until it is turned off at the inverter itself or its remote control.

Turning the TV off when the ignition is on is a function of the interlock device that the TV is plugged into.

the Kuerig thing has come up before
people trying to power one from 1000w
it won't work
that 1500w heater inside to make that fast hot water, needs a larger inverter
just fire up the on board generator for the kuerig and/or MW

you will need it in HOT weather anyway to power the roof top A/C to cool the RV while traveling

the dash a/c won't cool the whole coach or even the front half
if you do winter travel, you will need to run the LP furnace or 'Aqua hot" (if you have it) in order to heat the coach
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

Computers are easy. AFAIK all Kuerig is well over 1000 watts.
You can rewire as needed but still limited to 1000w.

My TV has its own inverter. Mainly I figured my kids would want to charge/use their computers while traveling and I thought it would be nice to fix a cup of coffee in the Kuerig. ..

i think tis wired that way, if any thing was wrong, there will be outlets with NO power any time
if you have any like that, that do not work from shore or generator
turn off all power and then look for loose wires

1000w will power a DRIP coffee maker or a 600w MW , (BUT not a Kuerig or espresso machine)
our inverter circuit is 'most' not all of only the drivers side
(2) duplex in the bedroom, (1) in the kitchen and the front entertainment outlet
which was also the OEM backup monitor (the overhead TV was the BU monitor) (since replaced) real neck breaker

nothing on the passenger side was on the inverter
i ran a dedicated circuit which powers the residential fridge i installed
I can explain it to you.

That's the way mine works and I've seen on a few others. I think it was intentional. Maybe to keep you from drawing too much power out of the batteries while going down the road?

That is what I like about my Xantrex Prosine (no longer made) 2.0.

IF I set the switches properly it works as follows
IF shore/Generator power presentL: It charges the batteries
IF shore/gneerator power lost: It switches to INVERTER mode and powers TV's DVR's Computers, and optionally (If in use) microwave and kitchen/bath outlets. This includes my Wi-Fi "modem" (Wireless game adapter) that brings the internet in from afar here in the campground.

I can also disable either the battery charger (Which I have done) or the inverter (Which I did by accident a few nights ago) if I wish (I use a different converter/charger to maintain batteries, LIke it's software better, Progressive Dynamics 9180 with wizard)

When I accidently turned it off. we had a power flicker (In this RV that means 3 minutes no power) Reset everything, TV, Converters, Computers, DVR's everything.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Do you have 12vdc going into the inverter?
Is the inverter turned on?
Is there 120vac coming out of the inverter?
Are there fuses/circuit breakers controlling the 120vac output of the inverter? If so are the fuses good and the circuit breakers on?
If there is 120vac coming out of the inverter, where do you lose it?

My Xantrex powers about half of my 110V outlets while going down the highway. It may be they wanted to limit the 110V usage while driving? Have you tried all of them while moving?

I tracked down a manual and found what someone said, that it is manually turned on...I'll try that in the morning when it's light out but I bet that's what it was...I'm still new to all this fancy stuff ...I feel like an idiot but I'm learning so much every day!
