I'm thinking about getting the motorhome roof replaced with FlexArmor. Can anyone here give their opinion or experience?

Any idea what this might cost per linear foot?

Thanks for the help.

We are near Athens and major storms passed under and above us.
The New roof looks great and takes away one more worry.

Oldme....

All the rain and storms somehow skipped by us so I did not get to do a "rain sound test" last night. The drive in Georgia and South Carolina was just a real light drizzle. A short while ago we pulled into RVaction, Selma, NC for the night. Two more nights after this and we will be home once again.

So how long does it take to cure? Any need to worry about hail when you run tornado alley? Now that I think of it you're more east aren't you.

Looks great, and a great solution to keeping a good rig on the road.

On edit:

Before I forget, I ran into another gentleman with a Cruise Master that had a leak along the awning to wall area. Did much damage before he noticed it. Might want to redo/inspect the caulk along that area.

A really nice feature about this new roof is it comes over the sides and actually covers where the caulking used to be. No more caulking is needed. Should be totally maintenance free only needing and occasional washing.

Hey Oldme....

I see you reside in GA. We stopped at Darien for the night and looking at the weather radar there is a line of storms heading this way. I might get to test the soundproof capabilities for the new roof in a few hours from now. LOL

I forgot to mention I picked up the motorhome this morning. Awesome roof!!! I only climbed the back ladder and did not get on the roof because it was still wet from heavy overnight dew. Driving on I95 today the coach felt tighter and less noise....maybe the roof helped with that. When running the roof AC it seemed to be more quiet. Tonight we are expecting rain and I'm anxious to see if the new roof deadens the sound of rain on the roof.

Overall...extremely pleased with the roof thus far.

Sorry if you posted it earlier, but I didn't see it. How much did this cost?

The rvroof.com shop charges $160 per foot of roof. Keep in mind that a 34 foot RV does not necessarily mean it will cost 34 * $160 = $5540. For example my motorhome is 34 feet but only required 29 feet of roofing. My cost $4694 which included tax all new vent lids and Camco covers.
