Plumbing: filter/strainer questions...

I was looking for a plumbing schematic or diagram for this RV but I can not locate one. There is none in the handbook.

There are two items that appear to be filters or strainers.

-One lives under the clothes closet in with the water pump.
It has an unscrewable plastic dome. Its larger, with dome about 5 inches high?

-The second sits close by, a little forward. Both on port side.
Its a little in line thing.
Asco Strainer written on the side.

What part of the plumbing system does each of these serve?

Is there a plumbing diagram?

Thanks

The larger filter with dome is the water pump filter.

The smaller is, now that I have it out, connected to the auto-fill relay.
Located in a horrible spot because you are supposed to service the strainer.
I will move the assembly to a better spot.

I filter before adding to the freshwater tank. It helps.

There is often an outlet strainer on the tank and an inlet one on the pump. FOLLOW The lines to see if they are on the inlet side or outlet.

Accumulator tank will be on outlet side.

Also there is a fresh water strainer (usually the screen washer at the inlet) and there may be a fresh water filter as well (much larger holds a couple quarts of water in it's housing if no filter present)

Have you tried Airstream.com? Thor owns them now. You probably know that. If there are historical diagrams and schematics, they would know.
I also see a website for the Airstream Guy. Maybe they could help?

Mike. Comments are anecdotal or personal opinions, and worth what you paid for them.

Larger dome could be an accumulator tank. They allow for a small amount of water to be used without pump running.
Asco strainer removes large pieces of debris depending on screens used.
