Poor Radio Reception?

I have a 2012 24' Class C unit. The dash radio is connected to the typical antenna next to the windshield and the radio on the exterior of the MH is connected to the tv cable. The exterior radio gets terrible reception as sometimes I can only get one or two stations if that. Has anyone had this issue and what did you do to correct it.

Thanks,
Dave

The problem is that it is connected to the TV cable. That is not what it needs. If the TV cable is connected to a Batwing, you still have to get it up and aim it for FM to work and AM just may not work at all.
