What determines when you change your propane hoses? Wait till leaks? Time driven like 4'years old? Physical inspection? Do you think wiping them down with some armorall or some rubber conditioner would help? Just wondering what the RV world experience is.

Nothing will do more damage than AromorAll. I would leave them alone as far as topical products are concerned but watch for them getting petrified. They should last longer than 4 years - mine have lasted about ten years in the past. Then they start to leak. Next time I'll replace them when they get hard.
