slide out issue

I have a 2010 5th wheel and m one electric slide will not go back out after closing it. ive adjusted the gold bell nut on the bottom side of the slide, but after a few trips it continues with te same problem. anyone else have this issue.?

Not hard to do, but if you have a covered underbelly you have to drop it partially to get the mechanism out and in. LCI (Lippert) has purchased almost all the Bell type actuator systems a probably where you need to get it. Doug

It can be either the Motor or the Screw gear. Either way, I always replace the unit as a set, instead of just the motor. I have been burned just replacing the motor when it was a combination of both. When this happens, you can either keep bumping the wall switch until it operates OR, go to the manual override on the motor and turn it a few turns and it will start operating. But it will stick again. Doug
