No, but you can bring good microbrew beer instead, and supervise! What I'd really like is one of those fancy High $$$$ LiFePo 100 AH batteries, but with the stock market in the toilet, and oil prices so cheap, I'm not feeling comfortable about getting full use until death out of it, or 2000 charge cycles. Hella lot of money for hella little powerful battery.

What's a barrel of oil at today? Under $50 for Cushing West Texas Intermediate?

I put this post up for potential solar panel buyers that are frugal... BTW what ever happened to Mena661 and his project?

The 150W poly panel I have now portable is pretty much all I need for now, probably for the future too, after putting in all LED's for lights and picking up a little 24" Samsung TV that pulls 19W, or under 2 amps when running.

They have the Amerisolar 250w for $170 or .68 a watt. One of those and a new and improved Eco-worthy 20a MPPT for $100 or less makes a nice starter system good for a peak of around 18a.

Especially good deal in so cal to just pick them up.
Shipping the large panels can be a bit much.

depends ?
you are going to need a 20 amp mppt controller to use that panel

6.76 power point amps at 30.2v .. will produce about 15 amps at 14v converted with mppt
and is waste of power and money if you don't use mppt

got to look at the whole picture

it is a good price per watt, IF you are figuring on going mppt
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !
