another one that looks real promising is the Graphene Aluminum ion battery. tests are showing three times the life of the best LI battery and they charge up to 70 times faster due to the higher power density.

the part you'll like is the operational range is from -40 to 120C.

I was reading about them the recient avances in solid state li batteries has caught my interest, as well as a couple others.

I do not believe any substantial size will be made in time for us to use though....
