Vinyl plank floor?

Has anyone replaced their carpet and linoleum flooring? DW doesn't like the light coloured carpeting since it shows up any dirt and blemishes. She originally wanted to replace the carpet and linoleum flooring with laminate. But, after talking with her brother, who put laminate flooring in his fiver, she is having second thoughts. He did his 2yrs ago and some of his seams are coming apart. This is due to high humidity where we live.

She is now thinking of putting in vinyl plank flooring. Has anyone put this into their RV? If we do this, what can we expect. Will it stand up to high humidity? What about traffic?

There is only us 2, no kids, but do have visitors.

I know of a couple people who have done it and it looks great. They've only had it under a year but it's holding up well and that's the route I'm going to go with mine. It was suggested to get the locking type and not the glue-down so you'll have a floating floor. Quarter-round on the edges for a good look if you're not great at cutting close to an edge. What I found at Lowe's to use will be 100% waterproof. One person even suggested to me to lay down a very thin layer of rubber, like you would put under a bathtub when installing one in a house. Lowe's sells that too in the plumbing section. Then put the flooring on top of that. Provides more insulation (sound/temp) and protects sub-floor against leaks if water makes it past the vinyl floor.
