Dometic 3604 3 way fridge problems

This fridge is in Lance 1979 model. It works on electric but will freeze the food in the refrigerator,it will NOT work on 12 volt nor gas. The panel does not light up, the panel seems to be dead. Having trouble even finding any 12 volt in the access behind the fridge, the electrical blocks don't seem to have power. The previous owner looks to have done some "electrical jumpers" and the wiring looks like its been messed up.
My main questions, if the "board" is bad will it act like this? I have a feeling that the switch on the front panel may be bad, and if it is, will it cut all 12volt power to the fridge? I am looking for a starting point.

If I got the right manual from Bryant RV website it is a mechanical refer and does not need 12 volts DC except when operating in that mode.

I guess I didn't make my self clear, we are not finding any live 12 volts at the rear of the refrigerator, notice, I mentioned that we have no 12 volts at the power blocks...... at the rear of the refrigerator
thanks for the link to the manual

Check the fuse that supplies the 12 volt. If that is good you will have to track where the power is lost. It will not work on LP without the 12 volt.

Starting point... Find the 12 volts in the back and see where it goes. Get a voltage tester and see where you have it and where you don't.
