Winterizing my Motorhome

I just arrived to Powder Springs,GA. from CA. and we will be staying here for the winter. We have a 2004 Southwind and my question is, do I need to winterize my coach. Being from the west, I have never had a need to do this, and I don't have any clue on what to do. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

First of all, thank you for responses. I guess I should have said , I am putting my M/H in storage. I don't have any idea of how to winterize. I was told by fellow Rvers that I need to winterize. Please help.

Check weather statistics for that region.

it does make a difference weather your living the rv or not, and ask your friends how cold it gets where your at.

When you say "staying here," do you mean living in the RV? If so, assuming it's at all set up for winter use (enclosed tanks and plumbing, etc.), you don't need to winterize, just make sure it is kept properly heated and detach the hoses in freezing weather and so forth. You'd be cold weather camping, not winterizing for storage.

There's many posts about winterizing. I don't know if my way is the best but I've never had issues. I blow out with compressed air, drain hot water tank, and antifreeze in the traps. That's is and doesn't take long.

Do you expect the temperature to fall below freezing while you are there? If it is, for any length of time eg. more than an hour or two, you should winterize.
