First, I installed a Tee to allow me to connect the antifreeze to the pump. I use antifreeze as it is best for up here.
That went well, after I waited till the fresh water tank drained.
Uh, no, that is never the best. I don't care if the weather where you winter hits -40 (F or C) or colder Antifreeze is never the best.
AIR is the best. IF the air ever freezes trust me when I say you WILL NOT be worried about your RV (though this is intended to be a bit funny. the fact is not for if air freezes...You will also not be alive).

Did you purge the city water connection by removing the screen and pressing the check valve? A word of advice, make sure the pump is off and pressure has been relieved inside unless you want to get a pink shower.
I never used the fresh water connection. I would only use my tanks.

Hopefully you remembered to put some antifreeze in the sink and bathtub/shower P traps.
