Power from a light or hitch wiring could be switched from a
Wireless relayIf you have a rear window, consider mounting the camera inside looking out. I put mine at the top of the window aimed downward so the rear number or spare tire is just in the view. It has great distance from the motorhome perception. I have a switch on the power for both the camera and monitor mounted on the base of the driver's seat. I leave it on when pulling a trailer. The power comes from the house batteries because it was most convenient but once in while it is handy to use the monitor when set up in camp, like the time a silver fox was visiting and we were afraid opening the curtain would scare it away.
