Xantrex 1800 Pro Series Question??????

Just purchased a used 2006 Coachmen in the last 90 days and overlooked the fact that the after sale warranty is over, so here is my question?

When Unplugged from Shorepower I am reading 12.8 on voltage but getting a E05 error which is overload but nothing is on? Can anyone please tell me what to check after this?

It is indicating that it sees a short, or excessively heavy load on the output.

Remove shore power and turn the inverter OFF and then back ON. If the Inverter has a remote panel, make sure the unit is OFF by unplugging the panel and turning the inverter OFF directly at the inverter front panel. If this does not reset the inverter, then it probably is DEFECTIVE.

Try removing all connections from the output of the inverter (and then do a reset as stated above). If the E05 indication remains, there is an internal short in the inverter output stage.

How do you know nothing is on? Try flipping the main house breaker off (if it is wired through that) and see if the fault clears.
