Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

Nice looking set up, I always wondered how to combine my 2 favorite pasttimes. It almost looks like a (short) train, do you ever have to back it all up?

Beautiful....Truck!

First diesel, huh?

I just came from a 5.4 gasser to a diesel. The feeling you get when you pull your first big grade is indescribable.

It's all over now. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here are some quick videos the wifey took while climbing some mountains in the Expy out west.

The video with the radio is pretty funny to listen to. (unless you're offended by trucker-speak.)

Just bought my first diesel. 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD. It has 107,xxx miles. The body is in real good shape and the interior is spotless. Bought it to replace a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 with 218,xxx miles.

From what I can tell it has all the options minus leather & On Star. It has power extending mirrors, automatic temp control, locker rear end, console, fog lamps, Bose stereo, power seat.

With my lovely wife

Really nice looking "classic". I remember seeing those models as a kid sadly don't see many now over here.

It has 125,552 miles on it. The engine has about 39,000 on it (rebuilt in 79') and just runs like a clock. I grew up driving this truck as a kid, my grandfather bought it new in 71, along with the camper, when he retired. I kind of like having the same truck I grew up camping in. The paint is in okay shap but I keep up all the maintence so it does well for an old truck. Of course, today in the world of power diesels, what once use to be considered okay on going up grades is not completely antiquated. I just have to enjoy the scenery and let the 350 sbc do its job ๐Ÿ™‚ THanks!
