2014 Freedom Express 29RLDS leak issue

The main slide works great while extended. However when closed and driving in heavy rain the wheels throw up so much water it leaks between the flimsy seal they use on the bottom. The seal is a rubber door sweep. When the slide is out the rubber leans out. When the slide is in the rubber bends towards the inside allowing lots of water to leak through the seal. Floods the whole RV. Not good... Very poor design. Working with Freedom Express with it but I'm very optimistic they will come up with a fix.

Slide locks are great. However this issue is the bottom seal of the slide. They used a door sweep expecting it to keep splashing water from the tires out. No matter how tight you seal the slide the bottom still leaks. Sides and top are good. Thanks for the input.

If you're not using "slide locks" I would recommend them. Many electric slides will not stay closed tightly enough to make the seal without the locks in place.
