2022 Superduty launch delayed

Chip shortage is continuing to impact. Posted on Blue Oval Forum production start is delayed to 6/24.

I'm personally beginning to get a bit nervous as I suspect my 5th wheel will be available sooner than I have a truck to pull it.

That's disturbing news. I just orderd a 2022 F 250 about a month ago and was told would be in by August or September. 2021 Was already a bust year for Ford sales because they stopped production to make ventilators, which we apparently don't need now given treatment options. To top it off (pun intended) I priced bed caps only to find out there is a "world-wide Fiberglass shortage". Even if I could place an order for a cap it would be around $3K! What a mess.

I just got my 2021, that I ordered in January, last Tuesday.
Dealer said he has 2 Super Duty's and 7 F-150's on the lot. Doesn't expect any more until August or September at the earliest.

Dealer must have an amazing crystal ball. 2022 SD haven't even been scheduled yet, and bunches of people with 2021 orders are being moved to 2022.

Makes you wonder if China might be shutting down certain regions again but not telling anyone...

Heard that also but delays and shortages of parts are felt in many arenas, especially recreation related.

Ordered a sail switch for RV furnace in early February.....back ordered.



Have a minor recall on a 2021 Superduty but dealer can't schedule because part isn't available.
