A/c thermostat keeps getting touched by mistake.

Hi All.
I have a led thermostat on the wall next to the bathroom door. More than once someone has touched the touch screen and have turned off the a/c, and one time changed it from a/c to heat. That really sucked. Its a · ?Dometic led touchscreen thermostat. Any ideas to keep this from happening. I am considering a lock cover. Most of them are really big and I don't really need to lock it.Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

A tamper proof plastic Thermostat cover is what you need.

Amazon, Ebay, HomeDepot and others will have them. Easy to install over the existing thermostat.

I think I will just tell them to keep their HANDS OFF OF THE THERMOSTAT. i WILL PUT A RED LABEL OVER THE thermostat. If that doesn't work I will look into a cover.

How about talk to that person called 'someone'.
Just keep your greasy hands off the wall already.

Mine is in the same place. No issues ever.

Move it a couple of feet higher on the wall?

paper would be too thin. Maybe a piece of cardboard would work.

Would a piece of paper taped over it prevent it from activating? Lift it up to change settings.
