Many campgrounds in the region close for the season on 30 September.
We have the whole campground to ourselves. The weather is fabulous.

The "sea" is Bergheider See, an artificial lake resulting from brown coal surface mining. It is near Finsterwalde in eastern Germany.

Took my grandson on a short trip for some one on one time. We did some geocaching, ferry ride to Friday Harbor and played darts on the beach in Coupeville. What a great time!!

Thanks! There was only one other car camper there so it was quiet and peaceful until 4 am when the wind came in so strong we had to close our vents & windows. Definitely a great spot for boating, fishing & golf. :B
