This past weekend, while towing my camper home, my truck started experiencing electrical problems. The check engine light came on then a wrench light. Once that wrench light lit up, the truck went into what is called limp mode. Thankfully, I was close to a rest area. Being that is was 6:30 eastern time, and I had been on the road for awhile, I just decided to put down for the night and deal with my truck in the morning. I estimated that I was about 150 miles from home and called AAA in the morning. I had no trouble at all in requesting a roll back to tow my truck home to my destination. With the AAA/RV coverage the first 100 miles towing is included. As far as the camper, they would have towed that too but, I called a buddy who lived close by to bail me out. All in all, I am very satisfied with the service. The reason, I had it towed home was, I felt more comfortable dealing with my local dealer who knows my truck than some other ford dealer.

We had to have our Toyhauler trailered back to the house after a wheel bearing went to pieces. Literally. Over 100 miles, no charge.

Nice to hear some good stuff about roadside assistance. We use the same program and have always been very satisfied with it. Thanks for posting.
