I am considering buying a telescoping ladder for a few reasons like cleaning, adjusting the awning angle and possibly to tilt solar panels.

Does anyone carry a ladder while traveling? This would be stored in the basement so I'm not looking for advice on how to carry (but feel free to share your storage solutions for others) Looking for advice on types of ladders and what others have found useful for a TC.

I am considering something like this:

Telescoping ladder.

Been carrying the ladder you are looking at for years. Very happy with it. Takes up little space when laid flat.

I have one in my 5er.First I studied the weight rating system and bought This One there really is a weight rating for ladders.

Tips, on mine, I find it works better to put the locks used to collapse the ladder facing away from you. this stops you feet from hitting them.
also they prefer to stay dry.

I carry a collapsible ladder in the storage compartment under the bed. Not sure why since I used it only once when camping to check roof after a wind storm at Tuttle Creek USFS near Lone Pine, CA. However, the ladder is great.

My Itasca came with a fold up ladder. Very compact and fits in the main pull out bin. Holds 220 lbs with no problem..

No, I don't carry a ladder. I have a built in one on both the MH and TT.
