Trying to figure out if my "old school" chain trunnion style bars are sufficient in size for my new TT. The stickers are peeling off that shows the capacities but hopefully someone has the same bars to fill in the missing links.....
What I can read is....
Reese V-5
1000 Frame Hitch (1 1/4" spring bars)
Max Hitch Wt. (2 bars 1,000#s)
Max Gross Trailer Wt. ??? ALL I CAN READ IS 000???HELP,

My GVW is actually nearly the same for the new trailer but who knows if the previous owner of my old trailer had the correct bars on.

Some of the Reese bars had the weight stamped into the metal near the thin end.

Why are you asking? Is something off from old trailer to new?

Whats the tongue weight?
