Barker Electric Jack

I just started having issues with my Barker 3000 electric jack. It will lower the trailer, however it will not raise it. I spoke with customer service, and they will be sending out new switches. She mentioned I need to synchronize the jack once I replaced the switches. She said I could find the info online. Well, I couldn't find anything on their site and google has turned up threads of people needing to sync their jack, however how to sync the jack didn't appear. Does anyone know what I am to do to sync the jack?
I'm sure it has to do with the travel.

Thank you.

aftermath, I installed the micro switches. Followed your instructions and was up and running in a couple of minutes. Did my lil happy dance and buttoned everything up. Thank you for the info.

I have an older model but here are the instructions for synchronizing the powerhead. This applies when you remove the powerhead.

1. Use the crank to fully retract post.

2. Crank jackpost one turn in opposite direction.

3. Ground powerhead to jackpost or trailer frame.

4. Push switch away from jackpost housing (as if retracting post). HOld switch until motor stops running (as if jackpost is retracted all the way).

5. Install powerhead and tighten set screws.

Hope this helps.

Just install the switch, no sync required.
Maybe she was thinking of landing gear.

Sandia Man, I am confused as well. I'll wait to get the switch, and call if any problems arise. Thing is, it took me almost 3 weeks of calling to speak with an actual person. Left messages, which they did return a call, however we were at the local fair at the time and I didn't hear my phone. Tried again this morning and got lucky. Thanks for the feedback.

We have a Barker Deluxe 3500 and when our switch went out we called Barker and they also sent out a new switch. I simply swapped it out and all was good, not sure why it has to be synchronized as the limit switches are internal and decide when the jack has been raised or lowered to the max positions.

Their website has owners manual which makes no mention of synchronizing any switches. We love our Barker, it has dutifully raised our very heavy TT TH and crew cab Silverado 2500HD that has a bed full of firewood, 3.1K watt generator, and other miscellaneous camping gear for over a decade.
