Battery Gauge Quit Working

My Starcraft 2007 came with a battery gauge. It never seemed very accurate, but now it is dead. I put my portable voltage meter on the back and the voltage read fine. Shall I try to replace it with an identical meter (there are no dealers near me), or replace it with something more useful?

Probably my fault for his second post as I posted a picture of my panels and we have about the same year POPUP trailer...

His first post was in the TECH Section... This one is in FOLDING TRAILERS...

His photo is the same as what I have in my 2008 model. Next thing you will hear is someone will ask him what a Batter is... C'mon Guys...

You do realize the rules say NO DOUBLE POSTS ALLOWED even in different sections.
Take a moment to read the rules now for what may be the first time

Didn't read the other posts in the Tech forum, but I would just install a regular old volt gauge in it's place.

Is it the switch or the meter? Bypass the switch temporarily. You may be able to replace the switch if it is just the switch.
