Well, as luck would have it, I have been inadvertently turned into a fulltime camper. We are, moving to a new duty station, and our house rented with in a few days. Only choice was to camp a couple months! We are beginner campers, with our first TT. Space has become an issue!! There is my wife, four yr daughter, and a big boxer, living in a bullet. It wasnt exactly fun at first, but with a few amenities like DirecTV, firewood and a jetpack, things have turned into a positive experience. Its nice to have meals as a family, the grounds are quiet, woody, and friendly military type folks. Unfortunately it has been terribly cold here (lower Alabama). We keep warm with space heaters, and it actually gets overly hot in the TT. Lines keep freezing outside, but nothing internally has been effected. Anyhow, I always wondered how it would be to be retired and do this full time traveling the country. Aside from space issues, I believe it is something we definitely want to continue doing (on the weekends) I am already starting to want a large fifth wheel, but w/e. I just wanted to share a little on the forum.
