Do they really work? If I install one can I expect the windshield stays much cleaner?

They cause more wind drag. My 2011 Ram has no chips on the leading edge of the hood after 25k and the windshield stays pretty bug free. Must be the design? No deflector for me.

I have found that it reduces some of the smaller bugs but medium size splat as normal. Have one on Wifes truck as she is on highway every day. Randu
