Bunk bed air mattress that fits

Been looking all over for mattresses that would fit in the bunk beds of our new to us travel trailer. Thought we had seen every blow up mattress known to man.....until today. Just happened to run across this at our local Academy Sports, and thought I'd share in case anyone else may be interested. Cost was $37.00, but is much better made than the standard blow up air mattresses. This is my first try at posting a picture here, so I hope it works.

How messy was cutting the memory foam? That seems like a nice solution. Thanks

After removing the foam from the mattress cover, I just used a fresh blade in a utility knife. Drew the cut line with a marker and a straight edge yardstick. Two swipes with the utility blade to cut all the way through(on a piece of plywood). No mess. Put the mattress cover back on and folded over the extra material underneath. It was easy peasy. If the bunk is longer than 75in like in my TT, there is a twinXL 80in available as well.
Some people use a kitchen serrated knife or even an electric carving knife. Just seemed like too jagged an edge for me.

Got a single air mattress at Wally World for like $11 and it works great. Get the battery powered inflator and you're all set.

you can order dense foam online and then trim to fit. recently ordered a full size 4" thick dense foam pad. trimmed to fit my TT "full size" bed and it works great. $78 from http://www.thefoamfactory.com/

How much are bunk mattresses? I've bought tons of air mattresses over the years and it never ends well.

I bought a 6" memory foam twin mattress and cut it to size. Works great and is super comfortable. DS loves it over the cheap, thin foam one that came standard.
I also replaced the short RV Queen with a full size 8" memory foam. Both ordered thru walmart.com for not much money.

Hi, I bought Coleman Cots & Coleman Cot Size Air Mattresses on Camping World's on line site & they were pretty reasonable.

Nice. Do not have the academy places around here. Have to search it out.
