Camper tie downs

I just bought a 2019 Ram 2500 with single cab. TorkLift doesn’t make tie downs for this model. What is my best alternative for a Palomino Bronco 1200, weight 1300 lb?

Thank you. I did not talk to TorkLift directly, but a reputable local dealer did, and was told that they are never going to support frame mounted tie downs for a single cab (not crew or extended) because no one buys them anymore. I have emailed Happijac and they assure me that their tie downs will work, so I have ordered them. We will see if they understood that I have a single cab truck when we try to install them. Becaus I use my camper on rough terrain, I think Happijac will be more suitable than Brophys. I did have TorkLift tiedowns on my 2007 Ram 2500 single cab and was very happy with them.

TorkLift will make them to order usually on older trucks as they do not keep a big inventory of old stock, so for them to make a set for you is likely not a bother. If they do not have one, then they probably just have not finalized it yet. Contact them.
Torklift makes very nice, very sturdy ones.

Find some tie downs that bolt to your frame. Do it once and then you do not have to worry about them.

I think estimating 700 lb for camping "supplies" is very conservative.
I took advantage of Oregon weight stations courtesy and drove via closed scales couple weeks ago.
Turn out, on return trip, where food and liquor supplies were low, we added over 2000lb of water (34 gal), personal stuff and souvenirs.
Some souvenirs were rocks, but I don't think they added 200 lb.
And we did not have winter cloths.

It might weigh 1300 empty but loaded for camping, most likely close to 2000 pounds btw.

I have an SS1500 and it's north of 2200 pounds loaded for camping.

I run Happy Jac's. for the front, custom mount's on the rear.

Did you call them or just check the website? They won't list it on their website until they have had a chance to test fit existing pattern to the new model year.

If you haven't called them, you should as they may be willing to sell you a pair for you to do a test fit for them and see if it works. Willing to take a picture or two could help them figure out if there is a frame design change.

Any of them will work for your camper weight..Happi Jacks are probably your best option but Brophies would work also...

Enjoy your new TC..
