We own a 2013 Rodeo Grande & with 25-trips in the last 12-months, are very satisfied customers & quite happy campers. We camp out yonder in National Forests, with an occasional stop at an RV site only when necessary. The only additions we've made are a 3000 btu propane heater & cabinet door latches.
The camper is on a Chevy 3500HD SRW 4x4 and under 2500# fully loaded with dogs & 30-gallon fresh water tank. I only pay attention to front axel weight because, well โฆ I've gotta worry about something weight related (thank you weight police-types โฆ).
We have the cedar-lined model with sink, 3-way refrig, & 2-burner stove; no toilet or shower. Plenty of storage, 2d bed with put-away table. Price was <$10k out the door.
At 6'3" I can stand up straight inside & stretch out without hanging feet or bent knees on the 54x84" east-west bed.
Capri customer service is on a first-name basis & all campers are hand built with quality craftsmanship.
If you're looking for basics, don't want/need an electric, adjustable, leather recliner to watch a 60" flat screen, not that there's anything wrong with those, then Capri is pretty hard to beat. We love our camper.
