I have seen suggestions to wrap the camper in plastic before cleaning the roof. Purpose is to prevent streaking on the sides from the dirty runoff.
Do most do this? Any suggestions appreciated.

thanks

I am cleaning the roof to prep it for sealing with the Dicor EPDM sealer. Just didn't want to leave streaks down the side.
Will was the whole unit after cleaning the roof.

I think it is primarily coming from the Dicor system. I think they suggest wrapping the unit in plastic before applying that activator/cleaner stuff.

Is it safe to use a small amount of bleach in the wash mix on an EPDM roof?

Just use some car wash soap, Dawn, etc in a bucket of water, a bit of bleach. Use a soft brush. Rinse, rinse, rinse... Then might as well wash the sides. Use a different mixture. I use a good auto wash and wax product.

X2^ I only clean my roof at the same time I'm going to wash the rig. There is no reason to wrap it in plastic. I've never even heard of such a thing.
