coleman Trailer vs Dutchmen Classic

Had settled on The Dutchmen Classic 315 BHDS (2014 model), and are still pretty strongly leaning that way...

however, we have seen just last night and this morning - that Coleman and a couple other brands have VERY similar floor plans if not exactly the same - and the coleman is 3k CHEAPER NEW than the 2014 Dutchmen Classic.

In pictures, the Dutchmen Classic appears it may be of better quality, so that has to be considered - my husband is going up to the dealer this morning to see if he can have a look at the Coleman and another brand with like floor plans, just to see if it's worth it. considering we were likely going to purchase a warranty on the used one to be safe, and wouldn't on the new assuming it had a one year warranty by default, we could save $5k for a very similar floor plan and walk away with a new unit.

If someone can weigh in on the quality of the Coleman (or the Duthmen classic) - both models are about 35 ft long and bunk houses

If you can share experiences I would really appreciate it!
THANK YOU!

Dutchman and Coleman are built on the same line if they are the same floor plan. We talked to the factory befor we ordered our Coleman. It's two years old now. About 13,000 miles. Stayed in it about 150 nights. Only a very few nuisance the the deal fixed. No real issues. Well built. That's my opinion..

Hello and Welcome. from fellow Ohio person.

I can not speak of how/what... if you like it... is what counts..

ask lots of questions... service/repair...
if used... make sure they serviced the brakes and wheel bearings.
I did last month.. found out.. they did NOT look or service them.
but they did after I showed them... I had 3 bad brakes on this trailer.

hubs checked it out - sounds like the Dutchmen classic might be a little more solidly built. At least it looks like it. we're sticking with the Dutchmen I think.
