My daughter was getting a little warm in her bunk during our last camping trip, so I decided to put her a fan in to keep the air flowing.

I had been wanting to add a 12-volt fan to the main living area anyway, so I decided to tackle both jobs today. A trip to Wal-Mart for two fans($8.48 each) and we're halfway there.

She picked the spot, and I got to work -

I picked up the power from her overhead light. All I have left is to install a short piece of wire cover and I'm done -

I added one in the main area -

I dropped by Lowe's and found this cool soap dispenser. I also just installed these Pop-a-Toothbrush holders -

I added a sopa dispenser to the kitchen area as well. I also installed a Pop-a-Napkin under the radio -

Here's an easy mod. I found this over the door towel rack at Walmart and it works great -

Hey Larry, love the tissue box. Easy access pull down for allergy or cold season. How did you attach it, is it just velcro or something, Can't really see what is holding it.

A couple small screws hold it on the wall. I think we found it at our RV dealer during our last stop. I imagine Wally World or such like will also have them.

OK guys - we are on the road with our new camper, but this has got my jucies flowing to make a couple mods. A trip to "Camping World" in Springfeild Mo. scored a few goodies to help.

Here we go;

First of all, I have MS, arthritis, a bad back and a sore toe, etc. - so I take a lot of meds, morning, noon and night - so I need a way to keep them where I am, when I need them. At night I take several just as I go to sleep so here is my effort to have them close at hand.

You also see the magazine rack I added anong with a holder for my Remote controls and a hand held weather radio.

Then I had to change out the reading lights above the bed - they were just way too small to read with. So I started with;

And changed the small light to this;

If you look at the following picture you will see the light on the left is the one I changed while the right light is the original one. The new one gives off a lot more light.

Now the finished picture with both changed; Also the misses got a magazine rack too and Klenex dispenser for her special needs! If mama's not happy, nobody's happy........

These were easy and fast and so handy. I also am mounting a flat panel TV in the bedroom and making a few other changes as we go. But first lets see if I got these sized right.

Happy Trails All!

Hay Larry, I'm lucky in that all I have to do is turn the recliner by the slide 90 degrees so it faces the side of the trailer. The slide wall then comes in fine. The center table is free-standing, so its gets moved to accomodate the chair move. Looks like I'm about 90 miles NW of you. Glad my pics were of interest.

I thought maybe some would find these of interest. For me, a link to photobucket album was easier to setup.

Hi Campguy3040

I was checking out your mods and saw that you have larger recliners at the rear window, like ours. Have you figured uot how to close the slide without moveing the one closest to the slide, into the space blocking the door?

I like all the other mods too and I'm working on some myself.

Thanks, Larry

Dryrot found in the rear, turned into a nice new Wilsonart HD laminate shower.
Not fun, but I sure like the way it turned out.

That looks very very nice.

What did the surround cost you?

I bought the "white" Oxygenics shower head before reading this thread. Must say I wasn't all that impressed with it; especially since it does not have a shut off valve on it. You can turn it down but not off - not a great design for an RV. How much better/different are the other two models?

I can get cam locks that don't have the 751 key?

I changed all of mine too... got 5 keyed alike from HD. They also sell combo ones and others at Camping World, saw them the other day.

Was able to test out our shower head today, The flow control on the head does nothing for us. Oh well Home Depot had a shut off valve for me. Will get that on during our trip. Other wise really like the head.

First project for this season.

Also went to Harbor Freight. They are having a big sale this weekend.
I got a 12v air compressor that was marked down from $75 to $55.

If you buying Oxygenics hand held buy the chrome or nickel one the white plastic one is a lot cheaper than the other two models. The place that I bought my chrome one two years ago stopped selling white one due to all the returns. Good luck
