My daughter was getting a little warm in her bunk during our last camping trip, so I decided to put her a fan in to keep the air flowing.

I had been wanting to add a 12-volt fan to the main living area anyway, so I decided to tackle both jobs today. A trip to Wal-Mart for two fans($8.48 each) and we're halfway there.

She picked the spot, and I got to work -

I picked up the power from her overhead light. All I have left is to install a short piece of wire cover and I'm done -

I added one in the main area -

I dropped by Lowe's and found this cool soap dispenser. I also just installed these Pop-a-Toothbrush holders -

I added a sopa dispenser to the kitchen area as well. I also installed a Pop-a-Napkin under the radio -

Here's an easy mod. I found this over the door towel rack at Walmart and it works great -

Did you buy a replacement fridge yet? I bought a new 641.3 that I put in my motorhome, then took out after one use when I sold the coach. 2011 vintage, it is in Phoenix.
Looking to sell it.

Well, I'm not sure if anyone has tried this before but, I took my old dead Norcold 6 cu. ft fridge and repurposed it to a generator box that mounts to the back bumper of our KZ Frontier 2405. It secures my twin 2k Honda's, eliminates the need to take them in and out of the trailer and allows me to run them while in the box. It doesn't really make them any more quiet but, it's very convenient. It's maiden voyage was a 2200 mile two week trip to Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon Caverns, South and North Rims of the Grand Canyon, Page AZ, Zion and Bakersfield.

Fridge before I removed from trailer

First task was to cut cooling coils off the back and holes for generators to breath and vent box

Wrap all sides in plywood for reinforcement

Mounting bracket installed and fitted for fan. ready for peel and seal sound deadening.

Dry fit complete.

Outside temp. inside box temp after Gen. running for 30 min. as well as exhaust temps.

Finished and mounted box

not really a mod but been itching for an ottoman. Went to a couple furniture stores and they had big ones and the cheapest was $350.

Went to target tonight and there it was. On sale for $59. It even has the same stitching pattern!

I knew I wouldn't get the same color so I had get something contrasting. This fit the bill perfect. Small enough for the camper but large enough for both or even 3 people on the sofa to use. Lightweight and has storage inside. I will likely make it my new home for the plates and dishes which currently reside under the sofa and is a pita to get. It's dark brown and yes my slide is not out in the picture.

I use lynx blocks. Seem to work, and work well when I tell my wife to go for a hike while I setup. Saves time... ๐Ÿ˜„

Bigbird65 , good idea, I had already done the chocks but hand't thought about the larger leveler. My wife is the one who pulls them out while I drive the truck so that will help as well.

The 1/4" rope is a loop secured with a couple of Tye-wraps. My wife usually is the one who pulls them out also. She really likes the convenience.

Many frig's have a humidity control heater which keeps part of the frame warm to prevent condensation. Some frig's have a switch for it but many don't so even while you're on battery this heater is sucking the juice. I put a switch in to allow me to turn off the heater when I'm running on battery.

Here's an informative thread on the subject.

I see the added LED light, but I don't understand your reference to a 12v Heater mod?

Bathroom nightlight .. I picked up a high output 12v red LED, installed that and a three way switch into the bathroom fixture. 3 Way switch has off in the center, LED one direction and normal light the other. This way I can aim properly without waking myself up via the bright white light.

No pics, nothing really to see.. the wiring isn't pretty and I used a 3 way switch I had lying around.

Pretty sure this 'idea' was from someone else, just don't recall who and didn't see if in this thread.

I've heard, was out giving mine a good look the other day.. was very surprised to see how well it was put together considering our TT is kinda bare bones/inexpensive.
