dvd stereo receiver replacement

I'm thinking of replacing the Linear Series RV4500 stereo receiver that came in my camper with a standard size car radio. I know lots of folks have done this, but I'm not sure how to fill the large hole that was used for the stock radio. It's very large and the hole for the car radio is much smaller. Does anyone have pics of a similar project or advice on how to do this? Thanks.

Filler panels and cubby fills are available at Crutchfields or other online auto shops.

This is what I did with mine. Did this awhile ago. Much better than the original unit that was in there..

My stereo is just mounted in wood paneling so I would just get some paneling that is close to fill in the extra space.
