Edge grill guard

Didn't know whether to post here or in Dingy Towing or Tech.
We have a new Edge for a toad. We have the Roadmaster set up.
I would like to add a grill guard for when we are using it solo.
There a lot of deer out here now and way more big critters north and west. We have had to repair several vehicles from hitting deer.
Anyone now of a gill guard that will mount with the Roadmaster base plate on the vehicle?

Is the grill guard really going to be heavy enough to protect the grill if you hit a deer, or will you just have more cost to replace the guard also? I've never hit a deer, I thought the guards were only good for mounting driving lights on.

There's great many that are built to take it.
The one from Roadmaster is the most practical but won't do as much protecting as I had hoped.
Take it down to your local welding shop and have them ad a U shaped extension on each side, for under $100. This way you can have it made to fit YOUR vehicle with as much or as little coverage as you want. I was looking for radiator protection from deer and elk accidents, so if I did hit one, I could probably drive on home, which the basic guard offers.

Yep, Roadmaster itself.....Have one on our truck and it sets right in the brackets. $129 from Roadmaster for the all black or slightly higher for the black and stainless model.

Here is a picture from another dealer, but I called Roadmaster and bought direct for a lower price......Roadmaster brush guard
