Electric Bunk Bed Question

Greetings!
We've owned our first RV (Starcraft 28BHS) for a week now. Just got back from our first trip (3 days), and the bunk beds in the back which are electric will only go up and not down. I don't want to haul the thing in for warranty maintenance if this is something simple. Would someone please point me in the right direction to see what may be the problem?
Thanks - david

See if they'll send you the switch and just replace it yourself. Can't be too difficult. These trailers are often put together by ... unskilled labor.
Might as well get used to doing your own repairs or the thing might be in the shop for most of a season for this or that.

According to Starcraft, the switch is broke and it's a warranty repair. Oh well.

I'm not familiar with your set up, but my first impression would be, there is a safety catch somewhere to keep the bed from falling in the upright position. This catch or lock needs to be released. It will probably lower then.
