Electrical Question

New to the forum and truck camping - bought a used Lance 945 late last summer and have been learning the ropes. Have an electrical question - the compartment with the 30 amp power cord also has a 30 amp receptacle plug. Can someone explain what that's for?? Nothing in the owners manual about it. Thanks!!

To clarify its for an onboard installed generator.

yep, tbltony has it right. It is wired to the output of the generator. If no generator, than it is part of the prep package.

the receptacle comes from the generator if the plug is not connected to it when on the generator you will not have any power.
